Travel mode
Tell Marque where you’re going next and it draws the roads before you get there, so you arrive to a full map instead of an empty one.

Marque suggests roads around where you drive. That’s the right answer almost all of the time, and exactly the wrong one the week you fly somewhere else. Travel mode is how you say so: point at where you’re going, and the roads are drawn and waiting when you land.
Set a destination
- Open Explore and tap Plan a trip on the map.
- Centre the map on where you’ll actually be driving, the region rather than the airport. Tap Set destination.
- From then on, roads near you means roads near there. If the pool is still being drawn you will see so on the map; check back shortly and it fills in.
One destination at a time. A place you’re going is a singular thing, so setting a new one replaces the old. End the trip whenever you like and everything goes back to the roads around you. A trip you forget about ends by itself after about a month.
What it changes
- Road suggestions and scenic routes answer for your destination instead of your home region.
- The map shows you’re on a trip, so you always know why the suggestions moved.
- Nothing about your account, your privacy or your drives changes. It’s a question of where, not who.
