Au-delà de la route
Marque on your watch
Start and stop a drive from your wrist, glance at a cockpit without letting go of the wheel, and record your heart rate for Steadiness.
Cet article n’est pas encore traduit ; il s’affiche donc en anglais.
A watch does two things for a drive. It reads something your phone can’t - your heart rate, which is what Steadiness is built on - and it puts a small cockpit where you can actually glance at it. On an Apple Watch it also gives you a start and stop control on your wrist.

Apple Watch
There’s nothing to pair. Install Marque on the watch from the Watch app on your iPhone, and the first time you record, tap Allow on each device to let it start a session.
- Start the drive however you like - on the phone, or with Start on the watch. Starting from the wrist begins a real drive on the phone, so it’s the same drive either way.
- While it runs, the watch shows a cockpit: heart rate, speed and g, one per page. Swipe between them. The screen stays awake for the session, so a glance is all it takes.
- Stop on the watch ends the drive on the phone, and the finish screen is waiting for you there.
When no drive is running, the watch shows your recent drives, pushed across from the phone for a quick look at what you’ve logged without getting your phone out.
Astuce
Garmin
Install Marque on the watch from Connect IQ, then open it as you set off. A Garmin sends its own beat-to-beat variability and stress reading alongside your BPM, which gives Steadiness more to go on than heart rate alone.
Wear OS and Samsung
Install Marque on the watch, then start the drive on your phone and the watch reads along. Allow the sensor prompt on the watch the first time. Wear OS sends variability too, and a Samsung watch adds its stress reading.
Turning heart rate on
Heart rate is health data, so it has a switch of its own and is off until you turn it on. Go to Settings › Devices & Data › Heart rate, read what it asks, and turn it on there. You can turn it off again at any time.
- It’s read about once a second, and only while a drive is actually recording.
- Your BPM shows in the cockpit as you drive, and the drive keeps a trace with your average and peak.
- It gives you Steadiness - how calmly you drove, from how your heart rate rose and settled.
- One watch is used per drive. If you own more than one, Marque uses the source you’ve preferred.
When the watch shows no heart rate
A calm heart and a sensor that never started look identical on a screen, so the watch says which it is. Instead of the number, the heart page carries one of three words, and each has its own answer:
- Allow in Health - the permission has never been answered. This is the usual one: if the phone started the drive while your wrist was down, watchOS had nowhere to put the prompt. Open Marque on the watch with the screen awake and answer it, once.
- No signal - the sensor is running and nothing is arriving. Usually the watch sitting loose on your wrist; sometimes a read that was refused, which Apple Health won’t say out loud. Tighten the strap, or check Marque under Health’s own permissions.
- Unavailable - this watch can’t open the sensor at all right now. Most often another workout is still running from an earlier session; end it and start the drive again.
