Sharing your drives

Every drive you record is private by default. Nobody sees it unless you decide to post it. Posting is one clear choice, the way it is on a photo app: a drive is either posted or it is not.

Post a drive

1. Open the drive and its share controls - from the finish screen, or later from the report.
2. Choose to make it public. Marque mints a share link and posts the drive to the feeds of the people who follow you.
3. Copy or send the link from the same screen if you want to hand it to someone directly.

The link opens a public web page of the drive - the route, the stats, the share card - that anyone can view, even without the app. It is the same page whether you post it to your feed or send it privately.

How far a posted drive travels

Posting always reaches the people who follow you. How much further it goes - into Explore, in front of people who do not follow you, and out to the logged-out web - follows your account privacy, not a per-drive setting. If your account is private, a posted drive stays with your approved followers; if it is public and discoverable, the same post can surface more widely. That all lives in privacy and safety.

Take a drive back

Change your mind and make a drive private again. It is pulled from every surface at once - feeds, Explore, and the web page. The link itself survives quietly, so if you re-post the same drive later, the old link comes back to life rather than breaking.

Hide your top speed

Independent of everything above, each drive has a hide top speed switch. Turn it on and your top speed is withheld everywhere the drive is shown to other people - the feed, Explore, the public page, and any exported video. It applies to a private drive’s future exports too, so you can decide once and forget it.

What is always yours

Your drives, cars, builds, and photos are yours. Posting only asks Marque to show a thing to the people you chose; making it private stops that. Marque never withholds your own data from you.
