Recording drives

Your drive report

The finish screen, the full report behind it, and everything you can read, name, and edit about a drive.

The moment you finish is the point of the whole app. Marque takes you to a finish screen that renders instantly from the drive on your phone - no waiting on the network, so it lands even at the end of a no-signal canyon road.

The finish screen

It shows you the drive at a glance:

  • The headline distance, counting up like an odometer settling.
  • Your route, drawn as a clean line - it appears with or without map tiles or signal.
  • Duration, top speed, and your moving average.
  • If you followed a road, a composure card scoring how the run went. See following a road.

It asks you for exactly one thing: share this drive, or keep it. There is nothing to name or write here - a drive names itself, so you are never staring at a blank box at the best moment. Sharing publishes it in place and stays put; the button then becomes the way through to the full report. Choosing done tucks it away privately.

Good to know

Your drive uploads quietly in the background as soon as the finish screen opens. If you are off-signal, it waits and syncs the moment you reconnect - nothing is lost, and you can share it later from the report.

The full report

The report is the deeper half of the drive, reached from the finish screen or later from your list of drives. This is where a drive gets its detail, and where you settle in to fiddle:

  • The route and charts - speed over the whole drive, and the g-force trace through every corner.
  • Splits and runs - the drive broken into its stretches, so you can see where the pace and the load actually were.
  • A session report - cornering, braking, and smoothness read together as the character of the drive.
  • A debrief - the drive, and your month, read back to you in plain language.

Name and caption a drive

On the report you can give a drive a title and a caption whenever you feel like it. If you are stuck for words, Marque can suggest a caption for you. A drive that never gets a title keeps its automatic name - usually the time of day it happened - so it always reads as something.

Good to know

Some of the report is part of Premium - the full g-force trace and peak g, the cornering-and-braking session report, and the debrief. The route, your core stats, and the share card are always there.
